| Club Championship Round 7
Good track conditions helped produce more FTQ improvements for drivers. Some excellent racing was seen in both Stock and Modified. David Wastall eventually took Stock FTQ, but second qualifier Ian Foxwell went on to win the A Final with 2 wins from 3 finals. In Modified Clive Stockham led the way with a new track record of 15 316.15. Graham Creasey maintained his second place overall taking a win and two 2nd places in the A Final. Keith Simmons dominated the 15T Control Class with an excellent qualifying and finals position, he proved that the 15T motors are capable of running well against the modifieds despite costing less than half the price. With the second round of the BRCA nationals being held next weekend at Ashby, those drivers who are to be competing there reported that the Barham circuit was helpful with their car set-ups, especially the high speed banked corner at Barham. |
