| New Race Meeting Dates
The new race meeting dates for July to November 2002 are published today. They include a BRCT trophy meeting, open to any drivers wishing to come along and compete on the day. Three meetings are also scheduled at the recently refurbished Brooklands Circuit on Romney Marsh. The format that was decided on for BRCT meetings will be used at both 'Club' and 'Open' meetings, this being 2 rounds of qualifying and 3 leg finals for everyone. 'Club' rounds count a drivers best qualifying and best 2 from 3 finals for points, and 'Open' rounds count a drivers best qualifying OR best 2 from 3 finals whichever gives the most points. In both championship formats a drivers best 5 meetings out of 8 will count for the championship. |
