Non Championship Meeting (A3)
A wet track still provided some good racing for the keen wet weather racers.
With a turn out of 21, including 1/5 electric bikes and nothing to gain but fun racing everything was set for a great race meeting. The wet weather racers came prepared with their cars and bikes watreproofed for the very wet conditions. As ever those who prepared in advance and took all the necessary precautions were the most successful. The racing was not just about speed in the wet but survival combined with skillful driving. It was soon apparent who had waterproofed speed controllers and electrics they made it to round two of qualifying. Those making the right tyre choice, of in many cases 20 compound slicks, found themselves well up the results.

The meeting was run with the usual BRCT format, 2 qualifying rounds and 3 leg finals for everyone. By lunch time the rain had eased and a patch of blue sky and even a ray of sunshine brightened the proceedings. Many made it through the day with no electrical problems. To those who raced well done!
