Open Championship Round 7
The first meeting on the new BRCT  track saw some close exciting racing.
What is now the main BRCT club track named the "A1" circuit  provided a new challenge to the Barham regulars and newcomers alike. But unlike the
old circuit everyone found they had a wider and more rewarding track to race on. The smooth flowing circuit allowed for closer racing which proved to be very enjoyable. The new track records were Philip Thurlby in 27T stock with 16/ 303.47 in round 2 of qualifying. Clive Stockham took the modified record with 18/ 308.40 also in round 2. Everyone had a good days
racing with several new racers travelling to try out the track and planning on making Barham their regular choice in the south east area.
