Winter Championship Round 7
Round 7 looked set to provide some exciting racing action. With trophy positions still undecided it was clear that the racing would be close.

Track conditions were damp and turning windy with rain. Pits D20 treaded wets and HPI 20R or 23R slicks were the popular tyre choice amongst the front runners.

Stock class was once again a close fought affair between Championship leader Les Help, with Ian Pullman, George Simmons and Philip Thurlby all battling it out in tricky conditions. FTQ was taken by Ian Pullman with a 12/306.62 but it was Philip Thurlby who managed to fight off the opposition to win the finals.

Control class was a continuation of the race for points between Ken Cooper and Keith Simmons. Ken came out on top with 13/314.70 to take FTQ and Ken also won the finals.

Modified class was again won by Clive Stockham who put in a time of 13/311.83 to take the Modified FTQ. Clive also went on to win the finals.
