Southern Touring Clubmans Cup Round 3
With a full entry of 100 drivers expected and some good close racing anticipated it all looked set for a great race day. Unfortuneately the day was wet to start with but it didn't put many off racing and by the time the first qualifying heat got started, the track was almost dry with the sun shining.

The Qualifying for Stock and Modified was close and promised to produce some very exciting finals however a thunder storm put a stop to any chance of racing continuing after the qualifying rounds had been completed. The rostrum was definately a very dangerous place to be the officials all agreed. After waiting for a reasonable time the meeting had to be abandoned. The decision was the correct one following two more showers later in the day.

Thank you to all those who came along to race and to all the club officials and volunteers who helped run what was a very enjoyable race meeting.
