Open Trophy Meeting
The first BRCT trophy meeting of the year provided some excellent  racing.
Doubts about the weather were soon dispelled as it was soon time to get
out the suntan lotion. Hot conditions hampered attempts to improve on the track FTQ's as tyres became overheated from the fast and furious racing. The FTQ for the 27T Stock class went to George Simmons with 13 / 302.88, Iain Bone was in 2nd overall. Clive Stockham took the Modified FTQ with 15 / 319.41, Adam Hampton was in 2nd place just over a tenth of a second behind, very close indeed. The Finals results were:
