Forget the old-racers tales, at last the truth is out there for you on the web. It's a well known fact that races are most often won by those who prepare for their racing. Not even the best driver in the world can win if his/her car is badly prepared. The fact is it will either not perform as well as those who have prepared their cars, or it will simply break down and not finish a race.
